The Causes and Effects of Using Bangla in ENG102(6) Classes
Using Bangla in English class is like a crime. It never brings us anything good. It is a big failure for a student to speak Bangla in English class, Even though it is a terrible habit. Because of this habit, a student cannot ever speak English properly.
There are many reasons why students use Bangla in ENG101 Classes. Students feel comfortable in Bangla. They think they can answer their questions perfectly by using Bangla. As well as, If a student feels he is not good at English, then he cannot find her confidence. So, most of the students feel so shy. Because they feel very uncomfortable and nervous, therefore they always want to keep themselves isolated. Most students think ENG102 is a writing course, so they think speaking English is not essential here. Another problem with online classes is that we don't know anyone and don't even know, which creates fear.
We study English to use in our real life. Because we are comfortable in Bangla, for this reason, we cannot find our best output from the classroom. As a result, we do not develop much. The teacher does not feel comfortable taking the class because teachers start thinking that the students do not listen to them. Then, at the end of the semester, he gives a very bad grade.
Students need to be a little more courageous to speak in English. Because they know how to speak in English, I think,talking with classmates will help create a friendly environment; thus, our fears will be dispelled. In this way, you can express your thoughts very quickly in the classroom. On the other hand, the teacher should be encouraged to speak English.
We should always prioritize using English in English class and avoid using Bengali as much as possible. Then our skills in English will increase and which will be very useful in the future.
